Digital Site Assessment Lunch & Learn Event

Digital planning or ‘PlanTech’ is a hot topic, but what does it mean in practice? How are Councils adopting digital site assessment and PlanTech? Urban Intelligence has digitised the site assessment process (including high level viability), the Call for Sites process, the Urban Capacity Study and Public Engagement, all into a single platform. We call that platform PlaceMaker.

In our special lunch and learn webinar, you can find out how Local Planning Authorities across the country are assessing sites at scale.

“Our new Sites Database will provide invaluable support to Planning Officers when making decisions about the
development potential of identified sites. ”

Overview of land titles in Hounslow

The London Borough of Hounslow awarded Urban Intelligence a contract to undertake an innovative approach to the traditional local plan ‘Call for Sites’. The usual process involves landowners and developers submitting and emailing PDFs of sites they are interested in for inclusion within the local plan process. Planning officers then spend months undertaking a sustainability assessment of these sites to assess their achievability, suitability, capacity, viability and availability.
