I never imagined myself working in tech, but the mission of using technology to positively impact the built environment and the people within it is incredibly motivating. The UI team is an inspiring group of collaborative and enthusiastic people, bringing together an array of backgrounds and experiences to improve PlaceMaker for local authorities.
Junior Designer
Having recently transitioned into Product Design from an academic background in town planning, joining Urban Intelligence has allowed me to leverage my full skillset working on PlaceMaker, whose mission I strongly align with. It’s very motivating to be working amongst such a specialised and close-knit team, that is transforming the planning process and providing the opportunities to create places that better serve our people and the environment. I couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity for the beginning of my professional UX journey.
