We created Urban Intelligence due to frustration with how difficult it was to find information on the development potential of property.

When we started in 2014, we knew the future of planning and property development was going to be digital. But a single repository of machine-readable data didn’t exist, so we built it. We’ve spent years drawing, scraping, reading and processing planning policy and constraints information from documents and PDF maps into the most comprehensive database in the UK.

From CIL zones and Article 4(2) Directions to green wedges and neighbourhood plan boundaries; our data catalogue, combined with our knowledge and skills in using it gives us our edge when advising our clients on development opportunities and risks. This separates us from any other organisation in the marketplace and offers a huge advantage to our customers.

Our mission is to transform the way the world views land and property.
