Urban Intelligence are two times EG Tech Awards 2022 winners!

13 July, 2022

We are thrilled to announce we have been named winner of the Real Estate Digital Outstanding Achievement Award and the Productivity Award 2022 at this year’s EG Tech Awards. The award is in recognition of those that have demonstrated a truly outstanding commitment to technology.

At Urban Intelligence, our team of passionate professionals are dedicated to making a positive impact, and have spent years creating innovative data driven solutions for planners and other built-environment professionals. We are very proud to be able to celebrate our achievements.

Our PlaceMaker Tool has been designed to meet the goals of planning and property teams within each and every local authority. Be that achieving the delivery of more homes or developing a robust vision for a more sustainable future. Using a single clean digital system we are able to help local authorities to find hidden development potential and value through dynamic analysis, scenario testing and a fully detailed roadmap of housing delivery throughout the plan period. Furthermore, PlaceMaker’s additional modules allow seamless integration with public consultations including Call for Sites, reducing administrative strain on planners and allowing them to add value to the towns and cities that they live in.

Our clients have already realised the benefits of using this tool. A growing number of councils are using PlaceMaker to be proactive in land identification, consult with the public, and explore the potential of their property portfolios at unprecedented scale. One such council, the London Borough of Hounslow, analysed 115,000 potential sites for development potential. You can read more on this case study here.

We truly believe this tool will transform the way Local Authorities undertake and review their Local Plan process, providing many time and cost saving benefits and look forward to bringing this forward thinking solution to many more organisations throughout the country.

Daniel Mohamed, CEO and Founder, says “A lot of time and effort has been invested into the development of our PlaceMaker tool, and for the impact of this to be recognised at such prestigious awards is a testament to the team and the impact we are having in the digital planning world. I would like to thank the team here at Urban Intelligence for their hard work, but I’d also especially like to thank our clients, without whom we would not have been able to develop such a necessary, and game changing piece of software. They were willing to step up and try something different, and it’s really paying dividends.”
